Akthar's Career Ends Prematurely

Fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar's been banned for five years by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The PCB says it's for repeated violations of discipline. Akhtar's been publicly critical of the governing body for not awarding him one of the top contracts to play for the national team. The ban however can not stop the fast bowler playing in the new Indian Premier League.
